Academic Action offers small group tutorials for students entering first grade through entering college. Reading, math and writing are designed for students working at or below grade level. Enrichment classes include Study Skills, ACT/SAT Prep, Power Reading and Writer's Workshop.

Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center

This course focuses on Freshwater Ecology & Environmental Ethics.
Study the natural history of Lake Superior from ecological & social
perspectives, participate in various field research projects with
professionals, and discuss local environmental issues. The experiential
nature of this curriculum compels participants to apply the knowledge
and skills they have gained in the classroom to real life situations.

Advanced Preparation Program

This is a comprehensive program designed to acclimate new first year students to college life. Students receive in-depth academic assessments, take classes for college credit and experience campus life. Program site: St. Cloud State University, St. Cloud, MN.

Advanced Program in Technology and Science
Sponsored by: Pre College Programs, St. Cloud State University
This program is for high ability, high potential 10th and 11th grade students who demonstrate a strong interest in science and technology. Focus is on scientific research for those interested in science-based majors and careers. Students work with professors on-campus pursuing research activities and advanced studies. Program goals are: 1) focus on scientific research; 2) expose students to career options in technology and science; and 3) provide role models in these fields and encourage mentor/mentee relationships.

All About Family brings together families for monthly activities that incorporate education and fun! Led by professionals and educators we are providing the opportunity for families to come together through activities held in our community. Many sponsors have provided supplies and food for these activities which are low cost or FREE.
